About Us We are a small family pottery, located just south of Eureka, CA: one person throws the pieces and paints the designs, another draws the designs onto the pieces and develops designs and websites, and a third is a programmer and has helped create a wonderful database to keep track of all the pieces made. One more deals with our technology both at home and in our booth; we are one of a few using solar to recharge our battery onsite. Mainly, it is the two of us: the potter and the graphic artist, that make up the core of Reannag Teine, plus the inspector cat--now joined by her younger sister. Our pieces bear our dragon-triquetra maker's mark stamped into them--but a rare few also bear feline footprints. What started out to be a couple of hobbies has grown and combined. One loved drawing Celtic knotwork and playing with graphics programs and the other made pottery for the fun of it. The sketcher, bored watching the potter throw on the wheel, asked to draw on her bisqued pots, and the Celtic-decorated pottery began. But we often ended up giving away pieces because they just piled up. There are only so many dishes one can use in the house. Everyone who saw the pieces kept asking us where we sold our work, so finally we starting selling it and here we are. And thanks to everyone who encouraged us, especially those who, after having bought their pieces, came giving to us the stories of how they love their pieces.
