Heraldic Designs These are the types of creatures and elements found on devices, just not necessarily placed in such a format. Some have Celtic influence, so overlaps with the category of Celtic Animals, such as the famous sea lion cups of Allyshia. This is half of a pair made for King Thorfin and Queen Geirdis of the West, AS XL, as part of the taxes from the Barony of Allyshia to the Throne of the West.
This was made as a Twelfth-night gift to Sir Theodric. It was certainly worth the surprise on his face to be presented with this cup. To accompany it was ordered four white bowls with rows of green bricks on the outside.
